Get to grips with Management Accounting – even if numbers aren't your strong suit

Management accounting is one of the courses where many students get stuck, especially if numbers don't come naturally to you. This course is designed for students on the old curriculum, where the subject is taught in the 3rd semester. Maybe you've struggled with it before, maybe you're retaking the exam, or maybe you just want to make sure you get through it this time. Either way, the course gives you a solid grasp of the material.

We start with the basic concepts and build from there, so you always understand why we do what we do. Every calculation is explained step by step, so you don't get stuck on the numbers but can see the logic behind them. The goal is for you to understand and apply the methods instead of just following templates. This is often where things go wrong at the exam: you can do a calculation but don't know when to use it or what the result means.

We go through theory, calculations and exam problems step by step. The topics come in a set order, so your understanding builds gradually. Along the way, you'll learn how an exam problem is put together and how to approach it, so you walk into the exam with a clear plan.

The course runs over 30 hours. That leaves time to take the material at a steady pace, ask all the questions you need, and work through problems yourself along the way.
