Get to grips with Supply Chain Management – from models and calculations to real exam problems

Learn to understand and apply the models of Supply Chain Management instead of just following templates. In Supply Chain Management, being able to do the calculations isn't enough. You also need to know which model a given problem calls for, how to set the problem up, and what the result means for the decision the company has to make. This is often where things go wrong at the exam: you can do the calculation but don't know how to approach the problem.

That's why the course combines core theory with calculations and exam problems. We cover the topics in a set order, so your understanding of the subject builds step by step. At the same time, you get better at solving exactly the kinds of problems you'll face at the exam.

Among other things, we work with:

Logistics and network models, including transportation problems and how to set them up and solve them. Project planning, including network diagrams, the critical path and project scheduling. Inventory control, including order quantities, safety stock and the costs of holding inventory across the supply chain.

The course runs over 30 hours. That leaves time to go into depth, ask questions and work through problems yourself along the way, rather than rushing through the syllabus.
